Gemma Abbey commenced her career as a Solicitor in Scotland in 2007 where she specialised in litigation for a number of years.
Further to her move to Sydney in 2011, Gemma gained invaluable experience with the Global Law firm DLA Piper and then Curwoods Lawyers, specialising in insurance and personal injury litigation for commercial clients. During her time in NSW, Gemma appeared regularly in the District Court, Supreme Court and the specialist Dust Diseases Tribunal.
Since Gemma moved to Queensland in 2016, she has been fortunate to expand her experience across many areas of law, including insurance, employment, commercial and family law, whilst keeping her focus on litigation. Gemma has gained experience appearing in the Queensland Courts including the District Courts and the Federal Circuit Court and she is admitted to the High Court of Australia.
Whilst her passion is for litigation, Gemma always strives to obtain commercial outcomes for her clients.
