Lindsay is a senior family lawyer with an Arts/Law dual degree from the University of Queensland. Father of three and young grandfather of one, Lindsay is a family-oriented lawyer passionate about all things family and family law, from parenting to the property to domestic violence and child protection matters.

Lindsay’s life and professional experiences in the family law arena give him a mature and commonsense approach to addressing the A-Z of family law issues faced by clients. His practice philosophy is to simplify for clients this increasingly complex area of law by assisting clients to resolve disputes with commercially sensible solutions.

Whilst Lindsay strives to negotiate out-of-court agreements in the interests of reducing emotional and financial stressors for clients, he is a stalwart litigator who zealously represents his clients in contested matters in the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia.

Historically practising in criminal law, wills and estate law, personal injury law, as well as family law, Lindsay turned his focus to the family law space and has predominately practised in this area for close to a decade. His earlier experiences in the criminal law arena, including representing clients in criminal law trials, makes him a staunch advocate in the family law courts.

Lindsay’s favourite novel of all time is Crime and Punishment, and he hopes one day to finish Tolstoy’s War & Peace.
